Magical Feeling

dreaming on as time progressed
everything felt like instant ecstasy
never wanted to stop this illusion
forever be in this world of fantasy

dumb with all the gladness it brought
reality bites hard to wake the senses
nothing seems to be permanent
got to always be ready for changes

now all that's left are broken pieces
still, reflections never seem to deter
advancing even through melancholy
past bonds are beginning to differ

trying to regain consciousness
wanting to pretend all is fine
holding back signs of suffering
picking up parts along the line

a lot of feelings will always be at bay
but in this heart you'll always be placed
life without you wouldn't be life at all
with that i'd say surely i am not dazed

waiting isn't an impossible feat
something that's once tried, once done
i'll never ever believe that in my life
especially now, you'll be forever gone
